The Kern County Sheriff's Office would like you to join them next week in remembering the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving Kern County.

Next week is National Police Week and the sheriff's office will have an open memorial outside of their headquarters on Norris Road. KCSO says a traditional ceremony will not be held due to the guidelines enacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The public is encouraged to visit the memorial throughout the week beginning on Monday.
