BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two people were arrested in Tehachapi on April 19 after deputies found a bag of suspected drugs inside their vehicle following a routine traffic stop.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, as they pulled over a Saturn station wagon, the front passenger tried to conceal a large clear bag containing suspected methamphetamine in his hands.

KCSO says the total weight of the drugs was approximately eight ounces.

The driver, 51-year-old Kathryn Sadler, and the passenger, 40-year-old, Bobby Finklea were both arrested on felony charges.
