BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Rocy's Mexican Food Restaurant at 1157 7th Street in Wasco to investigate a robbery on Tuesday, February 12.

According to KCSO, deputies leaned that two men of unknown races entered the restaurant wearing masks and gloves. One of the suspects was armed with a black handgun and demanded money from restaurant employees. They then stole money from the cash register and forced employees into the restroom, threatening to kill them if they called the police.

Deputies said that the suspects then fled the area in an unknown direction by unknown means.
