BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, Wasco City Substation Deputies responded to a residence in the area of 1800 First Street to arrest 31-year-old Eliza Perez who had a misdemeanor warrant.
After completing their search, deputies located a stolen handgun and a large amount of methamphetamine in plain sight. They eventually located Perez as well as two additional Wasco residents, 25-year-old Alfonso Trujillo and 43-year-old Melody Horton who both had felony arrest warrants.
Deputies said that all three subjects were arrested and following a search warrant located 180 grams of methamphetamine, indications of narcotics sales, magazines and ammunition.
Perez and Trujillo were both booked for their arrest warrants as well as open charges for various weapons and narcotics violations. Horton was booked for a felony warrant.
