If you're looking for a new furry friend, you can get one at the Kern County Animal Services on Friday for just $5.
All ready-to-go pets are just $5 at KCAS on June 1, according to the shelter's Facebook page.
Ready-to-go pets are fixed and can be taken home today.
Animal Services is located on Fruitvale and Meany Avenues in northwest Bakersfield.
