Kern County Animal Services is in need of pet carriers after they were "flooded with kittens," according to the organization's Facebook page.

The department says they're in need of small pet carriers to help send the kittens out to foster.

If you'd like to donate a pet carrier, they can be dropped off at the Bakersfield shelter at 3951 Fruitvale Ave.
