BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Leticia Perez took a moment to honor the life of George Floyd.
She spoke about the moment Floyd's brother arrived at protests in Minneapolis on Monday at the scene of his brother's death.
The board went on to take part in a moment of silence for 46 seconds.
