KERN COUNTY, Calif. — The Kern County Board of Supervisors will kick off the official budget hearings at their upcoming meeting. The meeting of the board is set for Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. Supervisors will hear the recommended budget for the 2019-20 fiscal year.

The county administrative officer who is charged with putting together the yearly budget has recommended that the board approve and adopt the budget.

Due to the budget hearings -- there will not be a board of supervisors afternoon session tomorrow.
