BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a motion to help local businesses with personal protective equipment (PPE).
As the state continues to reopen business employees will either be required to wear a mask or some kind of face covering.
Supervisors officially approved a program to help businesses with PPE, including masks, gloves in different sizes, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes.
It will come at a cost of $5 million part of which will come from federal coronavirus relief funds. The program is expected to be implemented on July 1st.
