The Kern County Coroner has released the identity of a person was killed during a collision with a bus. Clarence Mears, 57 was a bicyclist that collided with a bus in East Bakersfield on July 17, 2018. 

Officer's said that Mears was transported from the scene to Kern Medical, where he later died from his injuries on August 7, 2018.
