Kern County Counsel Theresa Goldner announced Friday she will be resigning from her position effective Monday, November 7.

Assistant County Counsel Mark Nations will assume Goldner’s duties until action is taken by the Board of Supervisors to fill the position.

Goldner was appointed as Counsel in 2009.
