During Monday night's Kern County Fair Board meeting, the organization is still planning on holding the fair later this year.

In addition, the fair board stated that the organization is not going to run out of money on June 1st.

The Kern County Fair is held every year in September and brings in funds for the fairgrounds, local non-profits, small businesses and even FFA students.
