(KERO) — The Kern County Fair is getting recognition across the country.
The fair received top honors for innovation at the 99th annual Western Fairs Convention and Trade Show. The fair won 28 awards in total during the show.
They competed with fairs of a similar size in states like Oregon and New Mexico.
This year's fair is scheduled for Sept. 21st through Oct. 2nd.
