BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Investigators are still looking into what caused a fire at the Wasco Labor Camp housing complex.

Kern County Fire Crews were called to the scene on H Street at about 4:30 a.m. Friday morning. One of the units caught fire and crews were able to get a quick enough handle on the blaze to keep it from spreading.

County fire officials say the majority of the 230 unit complex is vacant.
