CALIENTE, Calif. — Kern County Fire crews are on the scene of a vegetation fire near Caliente, California. Approximately 30-40 acres are involved and currently only 25% of the fire has been contained.
As a result of the fire, Bealeville and Caliente Bodfish roads are expected to be closed until 3:30 p.m. Drivers are recommended to find alternative routes.
Crews are expected to remain on the scene through the night.
