The Kern County Fire Department is getting ready for the solar eclipse on Monday.
KCFD posted to their Instagram page saying they were "preparing for the #solareclipse" with two firefighters are standing outside of Fire Station 58 looking up at the sky.
The post was captioned:
"#kerncountyfirefighters at Station 58 in Pine Mountain Club preparing for the #solareclipse, not the apocalypse! The eclipse happens tomorrow. #kerncountyfire reminds you to protect your eyes. Check out #protectyoureyes or www.weather.gov/eclipse for more info. #nwshanford @chp_fort.tejon"
