A small brush fire broke out near the bike trail at Hart Park Tuesday night. 

The Kern County Fire Department responded to the fire just after 7:30 p.m. 

Members of a local running group said they were in the area when flames broke out so they called 911 and sent in video of the fire to the 23ABC newsroom.

Fire crews were able to quickly put out the flames. 

No injuries were reported.
