BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County fire responded to a call of a vegetation fire in the grasslands of the Wind Wolves Preserve.
Officials were able to keep the fire at approximately 172 acres in size.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries reported by civilians or firefighters.
