Kern County Firefighters collecting toys for Toys for Tots

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Firefighters are hosting a week-long toy drive to help bring presents to Kern County children this holiday season.

Starting on December 3 at 8 a.m., people can drop off new or gently used, unwrapped toys to benefit infants, kids, and teens 0-17 years old in the Kern County foster care system. The toy drive runs from December 3 through Friday, December 7.

The Kern County Firefighters have partnered with Toys for Tots for this toy drive. Toys can be dropped off at The Station located at 7900 Downing Avenue in Northwest Bakersfield. The Station is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed for lunch from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
