Kern County Firefighters 1301 Twitter shared a tweet this afternoon illustrating the group of Kern Firefighters that just spent the past 2 weeks battling the Ferguson Fire.

The Ferguson Fire has spread to over 55 thousand acres and is only 30 percent contained at this time according to Cal Fire. There are currently 3,766 personnel engaged with the fire including 244 engines, 47 water tenders, 14 helicopters, 92 crews, 5 masticators and 78 dozers, Cal Fire reports. There have been 2 fatalities and 7 injuries reported with one structure being destroyed.
According to another tweet from KCF 1301, on July 25 a total of 91 firefighters had been deployed across the state battling the multiple fires.
