BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — A large group of healthcare workers gathered Thursday in East Bakersfield at Kern Medical Center seeking to address low wages, short staffing, and the outsourcing of local jobs.
Workers, patients, community members, and elected officials are all out in front of the hospital in support.
KMC is the only level two trauma hospital between the Grapevine and Fresno.
