BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night.

It happened in the 8100 block of Fuller Drive near Weedpatch Highway around 5:30 p.m.

Officials said one person died. The coroner has identified the victim as 19-year-old Anthony Moreno Viveros.

No suspect information has been released, anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact KCSO at 861-3110.
