The inaugural LA Kings high school hockey championship is Saturday and playing in that game? Of course, some of Kern County’s top hockey talent.
There are no school hockey teams at the high school level in California, so members of a the Kern County Knights, a hockey league, formed to play the sport.

Headed by former Bakersfield Condor’s all-star Paul Willet, the team will take on Santa Barbara , a team they've lost to twice before, but only by one goal.
They’re hoping to not let that happen again.
The game will be down at the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles at 2 p.m. and is free to attend.
