BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Library Southwest Branch is hosting their Friends of the Southwest Library Book Sale to raise money for library programs.
During the sale, visitors are able to purchase reading materials directly from the library. According to the Kern County Library Southwest Branch, the money raised during the sale fund 100% of the library's programs.
The Friends of the Southwest Library Book Sale began on Thursday, February 7th and runs through Wednesday, February 13th during library hours. The library, which is located at 8301 Ming Avenue in Southwest Bakersfield, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
