Kern County Library's newest service allows visitors to stream. borrow content

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Library's newest service will allow visitors to stream and borrow content!

Hoopla allows Kern County residents to access movies, music, comic books, and television shows for free without wait times and late fees. Hoopla also allows visitors to stream and borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks.

Users will be able to check out 3 materials through Hoopla a month. However, from now until January 6, 2019, the checkout limit has been increased to 5 materials.

Hoopla is available with a Kern County Library card and is available on Android and Apple mobile devices, as well as on streaming devices such as Roku and Amazon FireTV.
