Kern county officially opens COVID-19 testing center in Oildale

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A new drive-thru testing facility in Oildale officially opened at the Good Samaritan Hospital, 901 Olive Drive. On Friday at around 9 a.m. May Goh, among other local officials celebrated the opening of this testing facility.

In a statement, Good Samaritan Hospital said "Kern County is working quickly to remove all the barriers that our residents may have to getting the testing they need. This location is operated through a partnership with Good Samaritan Hospital and Kern County."

Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

This is a county provided site, administering free testing.
