The Center on Race, Poverty & the Environment is hosting a Kern County Pesticide Coalition meeting in Arvin Friday evening. The meeting will be held at Arvin Veteran's Hall on 4th Avenue starting at 6 p.m.
Organizers are inviting the public to come out for an informational meeting with community members, organizations, and agencies from Kern County on how they can advocate for pesticide safety near their schools and homes
The event will feature speakers in English and Spanish.
