November 14 is World Diabetes Day, and Kern County Public Health is bringing awareness about the condition to the community.
According to Kern Public Health, Kern County is ranked worst in the state for diabetes deaths. They will host health officials at the Public Health Services Department in downtown Bakersfield for a discussion on education, awareness and prevention strategies for residents.
