Kern County Public Works is offering a temporary household waste items drop-off.
Residents will be able to drop off unwanted household items, such as refrigerators, stoves, and other large items, to Roberts Lane Road Yard located on 1900 Roberts Lane in Oildale.
Some of the unwanted household items that can be dropped off are:
- Refrigerators
- Stoves
- Washers & dryers
- Mattresses
- Water heaters
- Household waste
- Other large items
Items that will not be accepted include:
- Construction
- Demolition
- Remodeling waste
- Green waste
- Hazardous waste
