KERN COUNTY, Calif. — The Kern County Science Fair will be held virtually March 15-17, 2021, but judges are still needed.

Hundreds of 4th through 12th graders annually participate in the Kern County Science Fair for a chance to move onto the California Science Fair. The fair is now affiliated with the International Science & Engineering Fair as well! Students are interviewed to demonstrate an understanding of their display, log book, and their hypothesis. Entries are judged on scientific thought/engineering goals, creativity, organization, completeness, clarity, effort, and motivation.

The Kern County Science Fair is sponsored by the Kern County Science Foundation.
