Kern County Sheriff deputies are investigation a shooting at the Calimex Market on the corner of Sparks St. and Bohannan Avenue. 

Officials say they responded to a call at 6:12 p.m.

When deputies arrived that located a Hispanic male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim's sister identified him as 25-year-old Rafael Carrasco. 

KCSO says the victim was shot in the passenger seat of a vehicle in the parking lot of the market while waiting for a friend, who was inside the store. Officials say he was taken to Kern Medical Center and is in serious but stable condition. 

Deputies are looking for three Hispanic men in connecting with the shooting. They say the men are possibly driving an older model brown minivan.
