The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in McFarland which left one man seriously wounded on Tuesday.
Around 6:20 p.m. on Browning Road near Elmo Highway, deputies responded to a victim of a shooting. They found a 35-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds, according to KCSO.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in serious condition. But officials say his wounds are non-life threatening.
He did tell KCSO he was walking on Browning Road when he was shot.
The suspect is being described as a Hispanic man, who officials said drove away in a white four-door vehicle.
