Kern County Sheriff's Office asking for assistance in identifying shoplifting suspect

OILDALE, Calif. — Authorities in Kern County are looking to the public for help in finding a shoplifting suspect that hit a local business in Oildale.

In a release, the Kern County Sheriff's Office said, "On July 3rd, at about 10:15 am, the suspect... entered the Rite-Aid at 100 China Grade Loop, Oildale. The suspect selected several items of merchandise from the makeup aisle and fled the store without paying. He then got on a bicycle and fled."
