BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Kern County Sheriff's Office deputy charged with sexual battery and assault by a public officer is set to appear in court Monday morning. Michael Clark is set to appear in court at 8:30 for arraignment.

Last month KCSO said it received information that a 21-year-old woman from Rosamond was sexually assaulted by Clark. On August 24th Clark allegedly offered the victim a ride home and she accepted. KCSO says Clark allegedly forced himself on the victim before allowing her to exit the car about 20 minutes later.

Clark was arrested on October 17th.
