RIDGECREST, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two people killed in a multi-car accident on Sunday.

According to the KCSO, 53-year-old Matthew Allan Hagerman and 53-year-old Melissa Ann Martinez were killed when their truck collided with another vehicle on US Route 395, south of China Lake Blvd in Ridgecrest. The accident happened around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday.

The KCSO reported that a Porsche Cayenne driven by Morlan Liu was traveling southbound on 395 when he collided with Hagerman's Ford Ranger after one of the vehicles crossed the center line. At this time, it is unknown which vehicle crossed the center line. The accident remains under investigation.
