Kern County Sheriff's Office identifies woman killed in rollover accident

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the woman killed when she lost control of her SUV along Alfred Harrel Highway near Fairfax Road on Saturday.

According to the KCSO, 24-year-old Kiana Lashay Michelle Coulter was driving a Ford Expedition at a high rate of speed with 9 minors in the vehicle, when she lost control, causing the SUV to roll over multiple times along Alfred Harrel Highway near Fairfax Road.

CHP officer Robert Rodriguez told 23ABC News that she died on the scene.

All of the minors were transported to Kern Medical for medical evaluations. A 5-month-old newborn, one 4-year-old boy, two 5-year-old boys, and a 6-year-old girl sustained minor injuries.
