WASCO, Calif. — Authorities with the Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that happened in Wasco on Saturday.

According to the KSCO, "On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at approximately 9:30 a.m., deputies from the Wasco City Substation were dispatched to the 1800 block of 3rd Street in Wasco for shots fired. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim of a shooting, a 52-year-old Hispanic male. The victim was transported to Kern Medical with non-life-threatening injuries."
