The Kern County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man killed in a Tehachapi plane crash. Michael Glenn Phillips, 69, of Westchester was the sole occupant of a plane that crashed into a business complex.

Phillips died when the plane he was flying crashed into a building on North Green Street in Tehachapi, not far from the municipal airport.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
