Kern County Sheriff's Office searching for third suspect in Lamont murder

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is searching for a third suspect in the murder of a Lamont man in January of this year. Ricardo Tapia III is wanted in connection to the death of Luciano Ramos, and the assault of another man in the 8900 block of Hall Road in Lamont.

According to KCSO, Ricardo Tapia Jr. and Melissa Avila have already been taken into custody in connection to the murder. However, after further investigation, Tapia was identified as a possible suspect.

An arrest warrant was issued for Tapia, but his whereabouts are unknown at this time

Tapia is described as a Hispanic male, weighing approximately 150 lbs and standing 5 feet tall. He has brown hair and green eyes.
