Kern County supervisor Leticia Perez will not vote on marijuana related issues. 

Perez made the announcement Tuesday after months of fighting with committee members about marijuana and among pro-marijuana groups. 

Perez said she will recuse herself from the voting on the issue to regain the publics trust.
