BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The number of human cases of West Nile Virus in Kern County has increased to 19, according to state officials.
The website, WestNile.ca.gov, tracks the latest West Nile Virus Activity in California.
On Friday, the website reported a total of 178 human cases throughout the state with Fresno county leading with 46 human cases, Los Angeles with 24, and Kern County with the third highest number of human cases.
