The U.S. Marshals are searching for Xasbier Medina, who is believed to be the shooter in a murder that took place at a southeast Bakersfield marijuana dispensary in August.

The Marshals say Medina is suspected of shooting and killing 26-year-old Nathaniel Valderrama inside the Blue Cookie Collective on August 5, 2017. Medina may have been aided by his brother Humberto Villarreal, who is already wanted by the Marshals for trafficking meth.

Medina is also a parolee; his commitment offense was vehicular homicide. He's a 26-year-old Hispanic male listed at 5'8" and 190 pounds. In addition to his previous offenses, Villarreal is now wanted for accessory to murder.

Both men have connections to east Bakersfield, Lamont and Arvin, and both are considered to be armed and dangerous.

If you have any information on their whereabouts, the Marshals ask that you call their tip line at 661-324-4004 and hit option number 3. Tips are anonymous and if your information leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a reward.
