Kern Down Syndrome Network raising awareness, money through inaugural Walk for a Million Dreams

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern Down Syndrome Network is raising awareness and funding through their inaugural Walk for a Million Dreams.

The network is hoping to raise awareness and funding for individuals with Down syndrome the community. There will also be a raffle, contests, prizes, and entertainment at the walk.

The walk will be held at the Kern River Picnic Grounds at Pyles Boys Camp BBQ area on Lake Ming Road. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the walk starts at 11 a.m. Walk for a Million Dreams is free and open to the public.
