Kern Law Enforcement Association is hosting its 7th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast November 11, 2016 from 6-9 a.m. at the American Legion Post 26 Banquet Hall. Veterans eat free and non-military guests are encouraged to donate 5 dollars.
"This event gives KLEA an opportunity to serve men and women who made honorable sacrifices for their country," said Dave Kessler, President of Kern Law Enforcement Association (KLEA). "We are extremely grateful to partner with the American Legion for this holiday."
This year's recipient of the KLEA 2016 Veteran's Day $1,000 Scholarship will receive checks at the breakfast in the amounts of $500 from both KLEA and American Legion, Post 26. For more information regarding this scholarship, contact the KLEA office at (661) 392-4430.
