Many high school student athletes will have a chance to head out to Kern Medical this weekend to take advantage of free physicals.
The Kern High School District has been teaming up with Kern Medical for the past three years to offer physicals for student athletes who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford them.
Kern Medical will hold the physicals this Saturday, May 19 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Students need to have their district sports physical authorization form that's signed by a parent before they can take a physical.
