The Kern Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and the filing of a complaint against the suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Carl Crawford.

According to police, on August 22, 2014, BPD was dispatched to a residence near 2600 Hempstead Lane in Southwest Bakersfield. Officers discovered that an adult woman who identified herself as the girlfriend of a 60-year-old man who lives at the residence, found the man deceased inside the residence.

After responding to the scene, detectives began an investigation into the man's death.
