BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: Crews found the hunter uninjured around 10:30 p.m. Monday. The man got turned around and could not find his way back to the meeting place.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office said search and rescue crews were looking for a missing hunter Monday night.
According to KCSO a call came in around 7:40 p.m. Monday from a man who said his friend was hunting and hadn't return to their designated meeting location.
Kern Valley Search and Rescue crews and Air 1 were searching for him along Basket Pass Road around 10 p.m.
The missing man was last seen around 8 a.m. Monday.
