The Kern High School District Board of Trustees will hold a meeting Thursday to discuss letting employees with the district carry concealed guns on campus.
A proposed policy would allow non-employees to carry firearms with the proper paperwork.
Board members will go over how an employee can qualify to carry on campuses and the guidelines they would need to follow.
