BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Kern High School District police officer used pepper spray once while responding to a fight involving multiple students at West High School Thursday, KHSD officials said.
According to KHSD, school police responded at West High to reports of an altercation between multiple students. The Bakersfield Police Department confirmed KHSD officers called them to assist. BPD responded but said they were not involved and left soon after.
It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured.
