Kern High School District confirmed with 23ABC that there was a break-in Wednesday night at Frontier High School.

KHSD Officials also confirmed that there was another break-in at Independence High School earlier this week as well. KHSD also said that some equipment was stolen from campus but was later discovered by authorities on Monday morning.

Police reports have been filed in both incidents, and the Kern High School Police Department is investigating the break-ins.

District officials have not yet said if the two incidents are related in any way at this time.
